The terms set out here are to tell you how you may use our website, either as an Au pair or host family. Please read them carefully as by using the website you indicate that you accept them and agree to abide by them.

We may change these terms and conditions at any time without notice. The user should review the terms and conditions regularly in case there are any changes. Continued use of the website after the change has been made is deemed as acceptance of the change by the user.

1. Username and Password

By registering with us, it is your responsibility to keep your username and password confidential. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your username or password. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to keep this information confidential.

2. Definitions

"Registration" means the process that the Au pair or host family needs to complete in order to use the website. Registration, either as an Au pair or host family is free and permits the Au pair to search our database for potential host families as well as host families, to search for potential Au pairs. The displayed results from these searches are restricted.

"Membership" is generally for 90 days (for host families) and 60 days (for Au pairs) and requires a non-refundable payment fee in order for either the Au pair or host family to fully utilise the services provided by the website. Upon completion of this process both parties can view and register an interest to a contractual agreement.

"Agreement" occurs where the Au pair consents to provide their service as an Au pair to a host family who also has consented to act as a host family for the Au pair.

3. External links and third party content

From time to time we may include adverts or hypertext links to sites which are created by individuals or external companies. If you click on these, you'll leave our website. Whilst we'll try to check that the content of these sites is suitable, we unfortunately can't take any responsibility for the practices of the individuals or companies who publish them, nor the integrity or quality of their content.

We have no control over these sites and accept no responsibility for them, for loss or damage that you may incur through your use of them. Please review their terms of user and privacy policies (if any) prior to your use of them.

4. Confidentiality

All personal details on our website are confidential and as such no details of members on our website should be disclosed to any 3rd party.

Also, on no account should members give consent for their details to be passed on to 3rd parties.

5. Our Role

We allow Au pairs and host families to connect with each other on our website. While our website helps facilitate agreements, we are neither the Au pair nor the host family. We provide a platform for Au pairs and host families to negotiate and enter into agreements. Accordingly, the contract formed upon agreement is solely between the Au pair and the host family. We are not a party to this contract nor assume any responsibility arising out of it or in connection with it.

The Au pair is responsible for providing the Au pair service to the host family for the agreed period and the host family is responsible for providing for the welfare of the Au pair during their stay.

6. Fraud Guide

Please DO NOT pay funds to anyone including host family, lawyer, solicitor or agents to secure or guarantee a visa, work permit, legalization of residency, au pair registration, Biometric residence permit, insurance or any documentation you think may be required to enable you work in any country as an au pair.

7. Our Prices

We do not charge any registration fee, however, in order to become a premium member a fee is charged. Our prices are set our in the Membership process.

8. Termination

Anyone under 18 years of age should not register on this website.

Also precluded from registering on this website are owners and employees of Au pair agencies or organisations associated with the provision of Au pair services. In the event that such people register on the website, they will be obliged to pay a compensation fee of £1,000.00 and have their profile deleted.
